Lower Extremity Intensive Course Offerings

BMAC Harvest and Advanced Injections

This hands-on BMAC course, led by Dr. Phillippi, is designed to provide attendees with practical training in bone marrow aspiration techniques. The course will take place in a cadaver lab setting, where attendees will have the opportunity to perform bone marrow aspirations under the guidance of Dr. Phillippi. The course will begin with an overview of the anatomy and the procedure itself. The practical sessions will focus on using ultrasound guidance to perform bone marrow aspirations. Attendees will receive hands-on training in ultrasound techniques for bone marrow aspirations, including the use of sterile techniques, patient positioning, and optimal probe placement. Upon completion of this course, attendees will have gained practical experience in bone marrow aspiration techniques, including ultrasound guidance. They will be better equipped to incorporate this technique into their practice and offer it as a treatment option to their patients.
